or after April 15, 2004, you DO NOT need these upgrades.

This
is an upgrade only, for those who have previously purchased
either a PDF titled Vol. 1: Cabal or Vol. 2:
The Faithful or the full print version of Skreyn's
Register: The Bonds of Magic.
Malhavoc
Press has created updated versions of the electronic (PDF)
editions of Skreyn's Register: The Bonds of Magic, Vol.
1: Cabal and Vol. 2: The Faithful. The new versions,
which update the books to be compatible with v. 3.5 of the
d20 System rules, are now for sale.
Those
of you who have already bought one or both of these PDFs
can purchase this low-cost upgrade to update your copies
to the new version! This upgrade contains a separate upgrade
file for each of the two Skreyn's Register PDF volumes.
The
electronic upgrades, for Windows users, are just files that
you download, unzip, and then execute. You'll be asked where
your copy of each PDF is, and then it will automatically
change your PDF copy of the book to reflect the changes.
(You might be told that the time stamp on your PDF doesn't
match, but don't worry, it will still work.) Of course,
you must have previously purchased the electronic edition
of Cabal or The Faithful for the upgrade to
work.
For
those of you who purchased the print version of Skreyn's
Register: The Bonds of Magic, this upgrade includes an RTF
file containing all the changes that were made to update
the book to v. 3.5. You can use this document as a reference
to make changes to your copy of the print book as desired.
USING
THE UPGRADES:
1. Make sure you have a backup copy of your original PDF
files.
2. Make sure you have the most recent prior version of each
book, or the upgrades will not work. To get the most recent
prior version, you must have purchased your copy of Cabal
after October 24, 2002, and The Faithful after November
14, 2002, or have run a prior free.

3.
Go to our online
catalog to buy the upgrade. Proceed through checkout
there, then download it from the link provided.
4. Unzip/run the upgrades for each of the PDFs, one at a
time.

Note: This upgrade updates only the rules of the original
PDF and print editions of the book to v.3.5 of the d20 System.
